War of the Dead

October 30 2011
While on the maiden voyage of the Pinnacle cruise ship in summer of 2012 a group of people who never met before where gathered at the same table celebrating the maiden voyage of the cruise ship The Pinnacle. They were all roomed in the same hallway and the tables were assigned by room number for this very special event, so they all sat together. During the dinner Mr. Hayes a Texan oil tycoon who seemed like a friendly enough fellow came over to their table and struck up a conversation. Unfortunately while excitedly describing his large oil fields, he has a heart attack. Despite the excellent care provided by Dr. Gregory House in the ball room Mr. Hayes died. Dr. House provided mouth-to-mouth, CPR, and used a defibrillator but to no avail. It was simply Mr. Hayes time to die. Dr. House went to the restroom to clean up and then headed to the infirmary to check tell the ship doctors what tests the doctors should run on Mr. Hayes. What Dr. House, a man of science, saw, was beyond belief. Four dead, torn and half eaten medical personal and Mr. Hayes reanimated and feeding on the dead medical team. It couldn't be! When Mr. Haynes started lumbering towards Dr. House, House in shock, shut the infirmary doors locking in Mr. Hayes and went to inform security. He could not exactly tell security what was wrong, who would believe him when he doesn't believe what he saw himself, so he told the guard on duty to visit the infirmary with a partner and they should both take guns, then he left to get himself a strong drink.

From there things just got worse. The security guards shot the suspects in the chest as trained to do but they kept on coming, the chaos started to spread.

Kirkman the head of security rounded up all the people (the players) who were at the dinner table with Dr. House where Mr. Hayes had been when he suffered his heart attack. Just before Mr. Hayes suffered his heart attack he was complaining about is heartburn and how he must have eaten something bad. While the group is being questioned by Kirkman the ship's power is lost. The group joins Kirkman to the lower decks and into the engine room to try and discover what has happened to the power. While walking in the dark engine room more zombies crawl out of the darkness and automatic gun fire is heard from the far side of the engine room. The Pinnacle has no automatic weapons on board.

A fire fight with men in military fatigues and "zombies" ensues up in the Bridge ending with a miss-thrown grenade tumbling under the control panels. These paramilitary men were hired to sink the Pinnacle.

We left off with Kirkman's plan to gather all the guest together in the Theater room for safety. Everyone is pair off and ordered to go to all the decks and inform the other guests to gather in the Theater.
